Prepare for Your Appointment

Flat lay of minimalist wooden objects, writing utensils and fabric items including a ball, bowl, pen, and various rectangular and long objects on a light surface

At Concierge Tax ATX, we believe tax preparation should feel clear, respectful, and stress-free. This page explains what to expect before, during, and after your appointment — so you can feel confident and prepared, whether we meet in your home or by document drop-off.

Step 1: Scheduling Your Appointment

A desk calendar showing the month with dates and days, surrounded by notebooks, a pen, a paperclip, and a piece of brown paper.

Once you contact me by phone or online, I’ll help you choose the appointment type that works best for you:

In-Home Appointment — I come to you (available in select North, Central and West Austin, Westlake Hills, Steiner Ranch and Lakeway ZIP codes).

Document Pick-Up / Drop-Off — I will come pick up your documents and then will bring them back when your return is submitted.

Step 2: What to Gather Before We Meet

Stack of paper binders with loose papers on a desk, a white coffee mug on a saucer, and glasses, with a blurred window in the background.

Please prepare the items that apply to you. Don’t worry if you’re missing something — we’ll figure it out together.

Step 3: During Your Appointment

Home office with a desk, an iMac, two leather chairs, a potted plant, a white lamp, a fluffy white rug, and large windows with a city view.

Your appointment is unhurried and conversational. We will:

  • Review your documents together
  • Ask a few clarifying questions
  • Explain any areas that affect your return
  • Confirm pricing before we proceed
  • Answer questions in clear, everyday language

If a caregiver or family member is involved, we can include them with your permission.

Step 4: By the End of Your Appointment

A modern workspace with a silver laptop, a small potted succulent, a stack of white papers, a yellow sticky note pad, and black binder clips on a white desk, with organized storage boxes and shelves in the background.

By the end of our appointment (unless we agree on pick-up / drop-off) we will have taken care of the rest:

  • Prepare your return carefully
  • Review for accuracy and completeness
  • Share your return securely for approval
  • File electronically once approved
  • Provide clear next steps and follow-up guidance

You’ll always know where things stand.
